The latest Complete University Guide subject League Tables for 2025 have listed Archaeology at the University of Glasgow as ranked 6th in the UK for the study of Archaeology.

The latest Complete University Guide subject League Tables for 2025 have listed Archaeology at the University of Glasgow as ranked 6th in the UK for the study of Archaeology.
This is a jump of 5 places compared with 2024.
This is a testament to our wonderful staff who work hard to maintain academic standards and create a wonderful environment for our students to thrive in, whilst the quality of our research underpins our teaching and student experience.
Our students are active participants in this learning journey and participate in our research and field projects, especially through our Field Schools at Glencoe, Drumadoon on Arran, and Govan Old.
