With the general election less than a week away we do not have long to wait to see how the rise of identity politics within the last five years in Scotland and England, will impact voting at the polls. In this presentation by Professor Robert Ford, University of Manchester, he will consider the similarities and differences of political realignments, the reasons why the Labour party has been hurt most by the rise of identity politics, and the implications for the general election.

This presentation was hosted by the Stevenson Trust for Citizenship
