Two members of IHW have been awarded prestigious fellowships to develop their work in important areas of research:

  • Laura Lyall, Mental Health and Wellbeing, has been awarded a RCPEdin JMAS Sim Fellowship, plus a University of Glasgow LKAS Fellowship, to investigate genetics and neuroimaging of sleep and circadian function in depression and cardiovascular disease, with UK Biobank data.
  • Marianne McCallum, General Practice and Primary Care, has been awarded a CSO fellowship and will be exploring how individual and community factors interact to influence patient capacity to manage multimorbidity in the context of socio-economic deprivation.

Warm congratulations to both Laura and Marianne on their success.
