Professor Anna Cooper, Professor of Learning Disabilities, has been awarded an OBE in the New Year’s Honours list. Professor Cooper is recognised for services to science and medicine.
Professor Cooper said: “I am surprised and delighted at this honour, and very pleased indeed in the importance it recognises of working to improve the health and lives of people with learning disabilities.”
