The team showcased a scaled model of an Orbiting Solar Reflector
The SOLSPACE group from the James Watt School of Engineering at the University of Glasgow participated in the Glasgow Science Festival 2024, presenting the theme "Glasgow’s Transforming with the Development of Space Structures".
In the outreach initiative led by Dr Vaibhav Anuse, the team showcased a scaled model of the Orbiting Solar Reflector (OSR) and conducted a tabletop activity where space enthusiasts could develop their own space structures. This public outreach event attracted participants of various age groups, providing them an opportunity to learn about the ongoing research activities at the University of Glasgow.
