UGEAN member Louise Hayward is a member of this group that provides strategic independent advice to the Minister for Education, the Education Directorate and delivery partners on the delivery and implementation of the recommendations in 'Successful Futures'.
Professor Hayward is a member of this group that reports directly to the Minister for Education.
The purpose of the Independent Advisory Group is to provide strategic, over-arching independent advice to the Minister for Education, the Education Directorate and delivery partners on the effective delivery and implementation of the recommendations in Successful Futures (Independent Review of Curriculum and Assessment Arrangements in Wales); Teaching for Tomorrow’s Teachers, (Options for the future of initial teacher education in Wales); and to ensure alignment with the development of a Leadership Academy and a national approach to Professional Learning.
