As the conflict in Ukraine enters its third year, how are community development workers building participatory approaches to recovery and reconstruction?

Nataliya Drozd (Dobrochyn Centre) and Oleksandr Pidhorniy (Chernihiv Centre for Human Rights) joined peacebuilding expert Professor Sinéad Gormally (School of Education, University of Glasgow) to discuss these issues at a seminar organised by the Community Development Journal and taking place in the University's Advanced Research Centre (ARC).

An engaged crowd heard first-hand about democratic activism, local self-governance, and integration of internally displaced peoples in Ukraine. Attendees also had the opportunity toask questions, and to reflect on how we can apply insights from their knowledge and experience within our own communities in Scotland.
