Cara Trivett has finished the Kiltwalk and her time in Glasgow (for now at least)!
As many of you will know Cara Trivett has left us after successfully defended her PhD Viva. Her Viva was postponed so we never really got to say goodbye properly. Thanks to the examination team Prof Aron Geurts (MCW), Lorraine (Internal) and Stuart Gray (Convenor).
Cara has already made her next step in moving to Belgium so we never really got to say goodbye properly so I have included a couple of photos that show the gifts we bought with the money you all raised and we presented them to her before she left. This includes a picture of the University of Glasgow, University of Glasgow hoodie and t shirt as well as a hip flask. The hip flask may seem strange but a hip flask was well used on the Kiltwalk, also picture attached.
I have also attached a photo of the rather small leaving card many of you have signed to wish Cara best wishes, which we will present to Cara when she will hopefully join us at the end of June for graduation.
All I can add is to wish Cara all the very best, Cara has performed marvellously since she came to Glasgow on the BHF programme and deserves every success.
