Lucie Tvrda

We would like to welcome Lucie Tvrdá to the School of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Health

Hello! My name is Lucie and I joined SCMH as a PhD student working with Dr Terry Quinn on the RES-Q project, investigating new means of improving stroke care quality in practice.

After graduating from Psychology at the University of Glasgow, I did my master’s degree in cognitive neuropsychology at the University in Edinburgh. My main research interests include underlying mechanisms and rehabilitation of diseases and disorders affecting elderly individuals, such as Alzheimer’s disease or stroke. I hope my research will contribute to the understanding and improvements in patient care.

We wish you all the best with your studies.
