Name: Bharvi Dani

Home country: India

"After graduating with a BSc. Economics, I decided to pursue my master's in the same field. The Adam Smith Business School's diverse curriculum made me choose UofG and I have not regretted it even a bit. Apart from my degree in Economics, I like reading newspapers, participating in economic conferences and talking with people. I come off as someone who is very chatty! I am very much interested in learning more about how Economics impacts both micro and macro decisions of our lives."

Why did you choose the Adam Smith Business School?

The biggest reason was the diverse course curriculum, and the second guiding factor had to be the father of Economics being a student and professor here. The name is true to itself. There's nothing more to explain beyond that.

What did you enjoy the most about your programme? How has your degree helped you in your career?

The business school case competitions, group assignments and class discussions were the most enjoyable parts of the programme for me. My degree has given me a sense of pride and accomplishment apart from providing me endless career opportunities.

What have you been up to since graduating from the Business School?

I currently work as an Operations Executive for the Transfers team at Evelyn Partners, in their Glasgow office.
