This week some members of the CCSE attended the International Computing Education Research conference in Lugano, Switzerland. Maria Kallia, Quintin Cutts and Nicola Looker had a full length paper accepted, Jack Parkinson presented a poster and a lightning talk and Quintin also chaired a work in progress workshop during the conference.

Maria's talk was well recived by the community and was discussed amicably. The quality of the paper was recognised when the paper was positioned as a runner up for Best Paper award. The award is well regarded as a high merit at an already highly prestigious and high quality conference, so being recognised as a runner-up is a worthy achievment. Congratulations, Maria!
