The University of Glasgow’s Learning and Teaching Strategy sets out an ambitious agenda for the transformation of learning and teaching and as such, the University has introduced several funding schemes to support developments, in addition to the Learning and Teaching Development Fund (LTDF) what has run for many years.

Learning and Teaching Development Fund (LTDF)

LTDF supports developments in the practice of learning and teaching that will make significant contributions to the enhancement of learning and teaching across the University.

Student Staff Partnership Schemes

These new schemes have been established to specifically target partnership work between students and members of academic staff to

  • enhance assessment and feedback practices within current credit-bearing courses.
  • develop the curriculum in ways that reflect the commitments in the L&T strategy, with a focus on redeveloping current courses.
  • decolonise the curriculum within current credit-bearing courses.

Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Fund

This new fund supports the scholarship of learning and teaching, to evaluate learning, teaching and assessment in higher education, and has been created to support work that will provide insight into the enhancement of learning and teaching and create an evidence base for change.
