Following the successful inaugural year of the Partnership Collaboration Award (PCA) between the University of Sydney and the University of Glasgow last year, applications for funding will open again on Monday, 16 September, for a second year.

This fund was established to facilitate and support joint initiatives to strengthen the strategic priorities of Sydney and Glasgow, as well as to develop multi-disciplinary cutting-edge research with which to create academic and societal impact.

This year’s call will be launched on Monday, 16 September, and will remain open until 21 October. Applicants are invited to submit funding proposals for innovative and sustainable programs built around collaborative research linking Sydney and Glasgow. Proposals for learning and teaching initiatives may also be considered if included as part of a larger collaborative research proposal.

Funding is available for projects to receive up to the equivalent of AUD 20,000 (£11,150) for each institution, for a total of AUD 40,000 (£22,300).

Proposals are invited from academic staff from all disciplines at the Universities of Glasgow and Sydney and their affiliated Research Centres and Institutes.

Full details of the call, the eligibility criteria and application process can be found on the Partnership Collaboration Award webpage or for any questions contact externalrelations-partnershipfunding@glasgow.ac.uk
