CHANGE TO OPENING TIME
SATURDAY 22 JUNE 2024
The Hunterian Art Gallery and Mackintosh House will open at 12.00pm on Saturday 22 June.
This is due to essential works taking place in the adjacent University Library.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
The Hunterian Museum remains open as usual (10.00am until 5.00pm).
CHANGE TO OPENING TIME
WEDNESDAY 11 AND SATURDAY 14 SEPTEMBER 2024
The Hunterian Museum, Hunterian Art Gallery and Mackintosh House will open at 11.00am on the following dates:
- Wednesday 11 and Saturday 14 September 2024
This is to allow for essential staff training.
We apologise for any disappointment this may cause.
Access to our Collections
We offer in-person research and teaching appointments at The Hunterian Collections Study Centre at Kelvin Hall. We also offer appointments to view collections remotely, via remote visualiser and video-conferencing facilities.
- Please note that access to The Hunterian collections at Kelvin Hall is by appointment only.
- All enquiries should be sent by email at least 20 working days in advance with details of what you require and for what purpose.
- There is a limit to the number of objects/specimens available to researchers on each visit.
- All researchers will be supervised at all times.
