At this exclusive event, Friends will join Glasgow Museums curator Pippa Stevenson for a private tour of the finest drawings by Leonardo da Vinci, lent by Her Majesty the Queen from the Royal Collection. These twelve drawings have been selected to reflect the full range of Leonardo’s interests – painting, sculpture, architecture, music, anatomy, engineering, cartography, geology and botany and provide an unparalleled insight into Leonardo’s investigations and the workings of his mind. This exhibition marks the 500th anniversary of the artist’s death and provides an excellent opportunity for Friends to participate in a national celebration of one of the most internationally recognisable artists ever.
