Professor Laurence Grove, exhibition curator and Professor of French and Text/Image Studies at the University of Glasgow, will lead Friends on a private tour of this fascinating new exhibition. Comic Invention explores the cultural and historical background of graphic narrative and how we tell stories in pictures. Taking us from the world’s oldest comic to Scooby Doo and Batman, Comic Invention reveals new material central to the history of comics.
