Postdoctoral fellowship opportunities

The Scottish Graduate School of Social Science (SGSSS) offers competitive postdoctoral fellowship opportunities.

These are open to postgraduate researchers who have completed their PhD at any one of the institutions, including University of Glasgow, that is part of the SGSSS Doctoral Training Partnership.

The fellowship must be held at an institution that is part of a DTP eligible to participate in this initiative and aligned to an accredited pathway. All Fellows are required to have a mentor based at the institution where the Fellowship is held.

The application process opens in January.

Princeton University - Postdoctoral Researcher in the Society of Fellows

The Princeton Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts, an interdisciplinary group of scholars in the humanities and social sciences, invites applications for the 2025-2028 fellowship competition. The following fellowships are to be awarded:

  • Two or three Open Fellowships in any discipline represented in the Society
  • One Fellowship in Humanistic Studies
  • One Fellowship in LGBT Studies
