Dr Haralampos Miras has been awarded the Scottish Crucible 2013 award for the interdisciplinary proposal entitled “Technological paradigm shifting in ammonia synthesis: Sustainability and socioeconomic implications” after establishing an interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues from Strathclyde (materials), Glasgow (Economics) and Independent evaluation company (Kerlen Evaluation).

The award involves a small amount of money as well, as seed funding by the Scottish Crucible in order to develop further the idea.
