Details     

For outstanding early career researchers, with a research record but who have not yet held a full-time permanent academic post, to undertake a significant piece of publishable work.

The College will be running an internal process to select appropriate candidates. Applicants are requested to submit expressions of interest (EOIs) by the deadline below to arts-researchoffice@glasgow.ac.uk and to copy in their mentor. Candidates are strongly encouraged to discuss their proposal with their mentor before submission.

EOIs should comprise:

1.  Name and contact details of candidate

2.  CV (3 page max)

3.  Title and short abstract of project (1 page max)

3.  Indication of fit of project/candidate to subject area (1/2 page max)

4.  Description of fit of the project to the Leverhulme Trust’s priorities (1/2 page max)

5.  Name of proposed mentor and confirmation that they have agreed to support the project.

Please compile into a single document (pdf or word) and submit by the deadline (see below).

The timeline for preparation of applications is as follows:

  • Friday 1st December 2023 - College Deadline for Expressions of Interest. Candidates will be informed of the outcome from 11th Dec 2023.
  • Successful candidates and mentors work on full draft. Submission to Arts Lab for review by Monday 8th January 2023.
  • Leverhulme deadline: 4pm, Thursday 22nd Feb 2024
