Sustainable Futures in Writing Logo
A group of 15 international sustainability researchers will present their journey towards international publication during an online interactive event taking place today.
 
For the past year, the cohort of 15 researchers from the Sustainable Futures Global Network as part of the Sustainable Futures in Writing project have been developing their research writing (including journal articles, chapters, and blogs) for international publication.
 
This project, funded by the British Academy, is facilitating the publication of research outputs by a cohort of dynamic international sustainability researchers from the arts & humanities and social sciences by providing one-to-one editorial support, group sessions and networking opportunities.
 
Through workshops and mentoring, writers are developing confidence in structuring and submitting work so that they can move into lead authorship positions and share their findings and ideas with wider communities.

You can them to hear about this important journey and to be the first audience to their new exciting work. The event takes place between 1pm and 3pm on Thursday 31 March. Book your ticket to engage with the work of these researchers and celebate these emerging international voice.

The online interactive event will include short introductions to topics that range from international education and aid policies, farmer-herder conflicts understood through analysis of traditional Àlọ́ songs, rural agrarian technologies, the sociology of rooftop space in urban Dhaka.
